A sneak peak at my major project, a typeface and publication based on free jazz, improvisation and experimentation. My first attempt at a typeface, ieyeaye is bold, condensed and quirky, with a ridiculous x-height and comes with over 230 glyphs. More info & downloads coming soon.

my first experimentation in using adobe after effects to create kinetic type. the task was to bringing together two opposite words in under 20 seconds, while also maintaining a narrative — this being the conflict between the natural environment vs. the man made. music by high rise

this project was for the university of western sydney student magazine, Embellish. this was a class project for the subject Publications, where we created a design publication as a team, with each person undertaking different management roles. i was awarded the role of art director and oversaw the whole production and design of the magazine.my design contributions include the cover design, gatefold contents page, 6 page article/spread and masthead. my article, titled the camera never lies deals with the use of manipulated images in the media and its effects on our community space, as well as questions the ethics of designing an image and embellishing the truth to create ideas of a perceived reality. alternate cover design

illustration done for the Extra Cheeese group exhibition held in march 07. this piece was sold on opening night, and the exhibition included many other talented friends & artists such as torsocorso, numskull & akina. artists and designers had to create a piece using a used pizza box as the canvas, and its aim was to promote the awareness of sustainable practice, as well as to blur the distinctions between art and design. more info / gallery
